Water Of Waste

Water Of Waste is a game meant to be played on smartphones. We used motion controller, so in order to steer the boat, you will have to tilt your phone, and to gain speed, tap the screen on the pedals. My role in this project was level designerproject leader and scripter. I implemented everything and created the level.

You play as an WWF activist who wants to clear the ocean from trash. Your starting point for each expedition will be your harbor which will be your base. From the base you can take your boat and go out on expeditions to pick up trash. You start with an engine that will only work for 25 seconds. In order to expand your expedition territories you will have to upgrade your boat so it can last longer. The end goal is to clean the whole world from trash.

There are three different states of speed - regular, fast and fastest. In order to achieve speed development the player needs to tap the pedals in a certain speed. You can se visual feedback on the speedometer and on the character animations.

This is a prototype I did for the upgrading menu. It is a working touch slide interface.
